Picnic with a Purpose Featuring Betsy Farver
Betsy Farver has been 23 years in recovery from Alcohol Addiction and one year abstinent (people with food issues will know what that is). She graduated from USC with a BA in Psychology, and has a Masters in Addiction Counseling from Hazelden Graduate School of Addiction Studies.
She worked at the Betty Ford Center for 15 years where she served as the Director of Clinical Services. In 2018 she retired from Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation as Vice President of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations.
Betsy has raised three sons and has 6 grandchildren.
Her interests include traveling cooking, playing golf, volunteering for non-profits and riding her Harley!
Please bring a potluck dish or dessert & your own lawn chair. Meat & beverages provided.
